Women’s Outreach Residential Treatment Program

The Women’s Outreach Program is a residential treatment program for women with substance use or dependency who are pregnant, postpartum or parenting children age 13 and younger. Services include:

    • Comprehensive assessments and resource coordination
    • Individual, group and family counseling
    • Substance abuse testing, treatment and education
    • Relapse prevention and aftercare
    • HIV testing and education
    • Community support and transition
    • Employment services (job readiness, training, matching and other support)
    • GED preparation
    • Therapeutic child care
    • Anger and emotional management
    • Transitional housing
    • Co-occurring mental health treatment
  • Case management
  • Life skills training (self-care, parenting, healthy relationships)

The Floyd Crisis Stabilization Unit operates and is available for referrals 24 hours a day, seven days per week

The Floyd Crisis Stabilization Unit provides acute psychiatric stabilization and detoxification for adults age 18 and over on a short-term basis. Services include:

  • Psychiatric medical evaluation
  • Medically monitored crisis support and intervention
  • Psychiatric stabilization
  • Substance detoxification
  • 24-hour nursing care
  • Daily physician assessments
  • Medication stabilization, monitoring, administration and education
  • Individual, group and family counseling
  • Education (HIV risk reduction, stress/anger management, coping, etc.)
  • Discharge/aftercare planning and referral
  • AA and other 12-step programs
