Highland Rivers is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and is a Tier 1 safety net Core Provider for the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities

Highland Rivers Health's services are billed on a sliding fee scale, based on an individual's or family's income and the number of dependents. The scale is set by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Highland Rivers can also bill third-party payors such as Medicaid, Medicare and, for children under age 18, commercial insurance providers. Financial information is required of all individuals seeking services in order to determine ability to pay; however, no one will be denied services due to inability to pay, and Highland Rivers will work with you on a payment plan that will best meet your needs and circumstances. For more information, visit the Payment and Insurance Information page.
